How To Find Us

Barney giving directions to Thorton Rose

We are sited within Thornton Farm, near the village of Rosewell, Mid Lothian. Thornton Farm is a working arable farm incorporating a substantial livery yard. Our landlord is Duncan Hunter and we are independent from the livery enterprise.

If you are traveling by car, take the A6094 from Bonnyrigg, pass Rosewell until you reach the Gourlaw cross roads. Turn left at Gourlaw Filters, Thornton Farm is sign posted at this junction. Follow the road for 0.6 of a mile past Broachrigg Farm. Thornton Farm entrance is on the left hand side, marked with a blue and white sign. Follow the lane and Thornton Rose is on the left hand side as you enter the yard.

Please scroll down to see map below or details if traveling by bus.
